Chambres
Taking as a starting point the effect of colour on our perception, Chambres explores our relationship to intimacy, memory and habits. Under shifting colours, a familiar stage slowly morphs into abstraction, as the commonplace and the extraordinary meet in this choreographic and visual panorama. Intimacy opens up to the world, as the room becomes a landscape. Chambres [premier cycle] is the first working phase of a larger project that will grow over the next year via other performers, devices and venues.
